It's been a while since I've written, but I wanted to share my experience with my clients yesterday.

I had a couple walk into my office looking for a place to live. Here was the situation: The husband had just lost his job to someone much younger because they could pay him less. So he desperately found another job which forced him to relocate to California. They has to short sell their 5,000 square foot house and move to a considerably smaller place in California. The husband, nearing retirement, never saw this coming and didn't expect to continue working or even relocating. I spent the day taking them around to different houses and like everyone else, they were shocked at how expensive it is to live here.
